M1A metro line runs directly to Bakırköy-İncirli station, 8 minutes walk to the studio. From Taksim/Şişli area, take Metro M2 → transfer to M1A at Yenikapı. From Anadolu side, Marmaray to Bakırköy station (25-30 min from Üsküdar or Kadıköy).

Otobüs / Metrobüs

70KE, 73, and 89C bus lines stop in Cevizlik (near the studio). From Sultanahmet/Eminönü area, the metrobüs (BRT) line is the fastest option to Cevizlik junction.

Özel Araç

5 minutes from E-5 (D100) Bakırköy exit. Street parking widely available in Cevizlik. From Istanbul Airport, 35-50 minutes by taxi depending on traffic. From Sabiha Gökçen (Anatolian side), 60-75 minutes via the new bridge.

At Ersin Tattoo: small designs (under 5cm) start at ₺1,200. Medium designs (5-15cm) range ₺3,500-8,000. Large pieces (full sleeve, back piece) are quoted per hour at ₺800-1,500/hour. Final pricing depends on size, detail, color count, and placement.

At professional studios with proper sterilization, yes — it's as safe as anywhere in Europe. At Ersin Tattoo we follow Class B autoclave standards, use single-use needles (opened in front of you), and apply EU/FDA-approved inks. Avoid tourist-trap walk-in shops in Sultanahmet or Taksim with unclear hygiene practices.

Yes — Ersin Tattoo is a single-artist studio with limited daily slots. Booking 5-10 days ahead via WhatsApp (+90 539 853 42 28) is recommended. Tourist clients should book 1-2 weeks before travel if possible. Last-minute slots are sometimes available for smaller pieces.

Touch-up within the first 4-8 weeks after the session is free of charge. If you return to Istanbul we'll handle it. If you're abroad, we provide remote guidance on aftercare and can recommend a touch-up window. For permanent design integrity, the first 4 weeks of aftercare are most critical.

Tipping is appreciated but not expected in Turkey. If you're happy with the work, 10-15% of the tattoo price is a generous tip. Cash (TRY) is preferred; credit card with tip option also works.

A properly executed tattoo with quality ink and good aftercare can stay vibrant for 10-20+ years. Color fades faster than black & grey (5-10 years vs 15-20). Sun exposure is the #1 factor — use SPF 50+ on your tattoo for the first 6 months and regularly afterward.

Yes. Ear (helix, tragus, conch, daith, rook), nose (nostril, septum), eyebrow, lip, dermal, and belly piercings. All use implant-grade titanium (ASTM F-136) jewelry. Piercing prices: ₺600-2,000 depending on type and jewelry.
